Rosmarin ist eine typische Pflanze der Garrigue und Macchia, wird aber ebenso als Gewürzpflanze kultiviert. In der Antike war Rosmarin der Aphrodite geweiht und symbolisiserte Treue. Rosmarin war Bestandteil des berühmten „Ungarischen Wassers", eines der ältesten Parfüms. Er ist Bestandteil der Würzmischung „Kräuter der Provence" und wichtiger Rohstoff für Parfümerie, Kosmetik und Pharmazie.<\/p>\n
